Here are some of the tunes from our debut album BTM. The reviews below were written by reviewer Lindsay Planer of the All Music Guide and also writes liner notes for Rhino Records and Grateful Dead Records

Doubt: This is the most memorable ballad to have graced these ears in some time -- without the typical weepy introspection associated with such. The track retains an inviting laidback delivery devoid of the slick and otherwise soulless pop rock that has become the anticipated norm. Musically, BTM are able to balance their supreme instrumental prowess with an engaging and infectious melody

Of Course: This noir-tinged love song is a rocker with considerable attitude. Vocalist Cary Moss weaves his indubitable vocals throughout the track’s aggressively syncopated rhythms. Also featured is Devin Thomas (piano) whose contributions provide an earthy contrast to Bill Hibbets soaring and decidedly electric fret work

God’s Left Shoulder: The dark overtones on this minor chord alternative masterpiece provide a platform for some of the album’s prominent instrumental work. From Matt Pearson’s viscous opening bass lines to Hibbets and Art Goethals powerful support -- particularly in the bridge -- this is arguably the strongest and most emotive performance on the album. The vocal harmonies are equally intense and deliver Moss to a whole new strata.

Firefly: There is an effortless organic vibe dominating both the backdrop and the grooves which can be likened to that of an autumnal stroll. The shimmering fretwork creates an aural halo for Moss’s soul inspired vocals. Likewise, Pearson’s full-bodied ringing tonality blends comfortably with the understated anchor of the Goethals and Moss tag-team rhythm section. The spectral and otherworldly melody is hypnotic, requiring perpetually repeated listening for maximum effect.

Drug Of Sleep: This trippy little shuffle is nothing short of a rock ‘n’ roll lullaby. The syncopated vocal patterns and bluesy guitar licks adopt a languid and dreamy Southern rock style. It is an apt conclusion to the disc as it again highlights the stirring musical unity of BTM. The unobtrusive organ licks -- courtesy of Devin Thomas -- provide an inviting sonic bed for some inspired vocals and a dazzling acoustic rhythm guitar.

Wagon Wheels: The uncompromising musicality in this jazzy shuffle yields only to its inherent intricacy. In other words, there is a whole lot going on here. As the quartet aptly demonstrate throughout, their seemingly innate musicianship and unity pull off one of the most satisfying listening experiences in recent memory. As with Cover The Man, there is an ethereal jam band quality pervading as well as linking Hibbits liquefied licks to Goethals persuasive percussion and nimble kit work.

Brides Eye View:
There is a delicious irony in the thrashing melodies presented following the antiquated cinematic spoken word intro. The aggressiveness of the performance incorporates BTM’s alternative rock gymnastics with their eclectic song writing and arrangement styles. Hibbets’ demented electric lines are notably punctuated by his otherwise tasty counter point.
